About-Face is a san francisco-based non-profit group, about-face combats negative and distorted images of women in the media. About-Face's mission is to equip women and girls with tools to understand and resist the harmful stereotypes of women the media disseminates. This resource-filled web site offers materials for teaching gender issues, analyzing tv-programs and advertisements and more.
