NORDICOM
NORDICOM is a knowledge centre for the area of media and communication research, a co-operation between the five countries of the Nordic region - Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. The site offers a wide range of electronic publications and publications to order.

Ncom : Nordicom's database on Nordic Media Research Publications

The Ncom data base aims to record all Nordic research publications on media and communication published since 1975. Ncom contains about 35.000 references (October 2003). The data base is continually updated with a yearly growth of about 1.600 references. The site is produced by Nordic Information Centre for Media and Communication Research

 

The international Clearinghouse on Children, Youth and Media - Media Literacy Database
On The international Clearinghouse on Children, Youth and Media -website you can find electronic publications and publications to order about children, youth and media. The site contains a Media Literacy Database that offers a collection of research, knowledge and useful resources in the field of media literacy from all parts of the world. The database is maintained by the International Clearinghouse on Children, Youth and Media at Nordicom, Göteborg University and developed in partnership with UNESCO.

The Alliance of Civilizations welcomes contributions from organizations, university departments, associations, groups and individuals who are developing new pedagogical tools, strategies, and theories that take into consideration the challenges of the information society.
